How much will a hat cost me?
The million dollar question! This has so many variances that it is impossible to say. Pricing depends greatly on the size of your headpiece, the materials used, how many different colours, trimmings etc. For a no obligation quote- please get in touch where I will be happy to help.
How long does it take to make a hat?
Again- this varies a lot and depends on the materials used, the size and if there are any custom elements such as handmade flowers, trimmings or custom dye jobs. Usually, I quote a two week turnaround from agreeing the design to you receiving your hat but this may be longer in the busy summer months.
Do you have anything ready to post?
I usually have some hats ready to go that have not yet been listed on the website- please do ask! I also have a small number of rental pieces that is steadily growing- I would be more than happy to explore this option with you if you need a hat in a hurry.
I don't know what hats suit me!
Most people are unsure of what type of hat they need or want. You are more than welcome to try on a range of hats and find a style that suits your face shape and more importantly- your personality!
Do I need an appointment or can I just walk in?
All consultations are done by appointment only. I will not be able to accommodate walk ins as all of my pieces are kept in storage and time is needed to pull out the pieces for you to try.
What if I change my mind?
Changing your mind is fine! When designing a hat I like to keep my clients as involved throughout the design and make process. I will regularly send pictures of designs and progress of your hat being made. A photograph of the finished piece will be sent to you before shipping. Design changes after the initial design of the hat has been agreed will be chargeable.
How do I go about creating a bespoke piece?
If you would like something creating especially for you, please do get in touch. I can arrange phonecalls and video calls to discuss your ideas and requirements or a visit in person to try on different styles of headpieces.
I need a headpiece quickly, can you help?
I do keep a stock of hats and hat bases, so it may be possible to create you something at short notice. However, during busier periods this may not be possible as each piece is hand formed and sewn by hand
I've never worn hats before- help!
Don't worry! I can help you find the exact shape and colour to match your outfit, flatter your face shape and body type.
Each piece is sent out with an information sheet and care guide on how to wear and look after your headpiece to ensure it looks great for years.

Absolutely! If you have seen hats you like then please do show them to us- it helps give us an idea of your style and what you want. I cannot copy a piece exactly, but we can work with you to create something beautiful and unique.
